A Taste of Tuscany at Palm Court Brasserie
This season, we’re delighted to introduce a new selection of specials inspired by our recent journey to the heart of Tuscany. During a visit to the Brunello di Montalcino estates, we had the pleasure of spending time with our friends and partners at Campogiovanni, whose passion for winemaking and commitment to quality shine through in every bottle.
From vine to glass, Campogiovanni captures the essence of Tuscan craftsmanship; care, patience, and an unwavering respect for tradition. Their wines tell the story of the land they come from, of sun-soaked hillsides and generations of artisans devoted to their craft - we’re proud to now share these exceptional expressions of Tuscany with you at Palm Court Brasserie.
Among the collection is the Rosso di Montalcino 2022, the youngest and most vibrant of the range. Its inviting character unfolds with ripe cherry and blackberry, delicately layered with cedarwood and spice, a joyful introduction to the Campogiovanni estate’s style.
The Brunello di Montalcino 2020 offers a deeper, more elegant expression. One of Italy’s most celebrated appellations, Brunello reveals expansive aromas of wild berry, plum, cedar, and tobacco, with subtle notes of leather and savoury undertones on the palate. It’s a wine of generosity and grace, perfectly suited to evenings shared over conversation and candlelight.
For those seeking something truly special, the “Il Quercione” Riserva 2013 represents the pinnacle of Campogiovanni’s craft. Produced from their most prized single vineyard, it’s a wine of extraordinary complexity; violet and wild red berries give way to sandalwood, leather, and dried fruit, creating a remarkable, layered experience.
To complement these exquisite wines, our chefs have crafted two seasonal dishes that celebrate comfort and sophistication in equal measure. A creamy polenta enriched with truffle and wild mushrooms brings warmth and indulgence, while the venison stroganoff, served with fragrant jasmine rice, offers a rich, deeply satisfying pairing for the Brunello wines.
At Palm Court Brasserie, wine is more than an accompaniment, it’s a conversation, a story, a shared journey. Join us in Covent Garden this season and experience a taste of Tuscany, where exceptional wines, beautiful food, and the people behind them come together in perfect harmony.
